Trad climbing requires not only strength and technique but also planning, rock reading, and the ability to make safe decisions at height. At Southclimb, we teach these skills in a practical, safe, and structured way, combining theory and hands-on practice in the stunning setting of La Mussara, Tarragona.

The course takes place in La Mussara, a premier climbing area in Tarragona for traditional routes and multi-pitch climbs. We offer group courses on scheduled dates, perfect for sharing experience and learning with other climbers, as well as private courses, tailored to your level, goals, and pace.
The main goal is to develop technical skills and autonomy in traditional climbing. You will learn to read the rock, place protection safely, build stable anchors, and manage ropes on multi-pitch routes. This will allow you to climb more safely and fully enjoy the classic climbing experience.

Just finished the 2-day multi pitch course. Excellent experience with our coach Santi, who is a professional and very experienced rock climber and alpinist.
We were taught all the techniques and logics to complete a multi pitch route in the mountains (the second day in Montserrat is amazing!).
We also had many nice small talks about risk management, how to start climbing multi pitch for beginners, etc.. Very nice people and vibe here ;)
